Cydcor’s Publication Receives Recognition from Graphic Design USA

Leading global provider of outsourced, face-to-face sales teams
earns kudos for its monthly publication

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. (October 26, 2011) – Cydcor, the leading provider of outsourced, face-to-face sales teams, recently received recognition from the American Graphic Design Awards for its monthly publication, The Leader, which is distributed to Cydcor’s network of more than 250 independently-owned offices throughout the United States and Canada.

The Leader, a 16-page publication, is designed by Mustang Marketing, a full-service marketing agency in Ventura County, and written and produced entirely by Cydcor’s marketing team.

The publication was entered into the American Graphic Design Awards; out of more than 8,000 entries, less than 15 percent were recognized – and The Leader was one of them. As a result, Cydcor will appear in an upcoming issue of Graphic Design USA with a photo and small blurb.

“Awards for awards sake are not part of a valuable marketing program. However, awards that are an outgrowth of a well-planned campaign and teamwork between agency and client are always a highlight,” said Scott Harris, president of Mustang Marketing. “This one in particular resulted from focused effort by everyone involved and is a particular source of pride for Mustang.”

The Leader goes out monthly to field reps, office owners, assistant managers, and administrators throughout the United States and Canada. The sales statistics of the top sales reps and office owners are highlighted. Also included are interviews, feature articles, and important news items.

The Leader captures the essence of what makes Cydcor so unique,” said Vera Quinn, chief operating officer. “The publication showcases our people’s accomplishments, our passion for our clients, and our ongoing ‘student mentality’ that everyone in the field practices. “

Cydcor Holds Annual Appreciation Event in Puerto Rico

Leading global provider of outsourced, face-to-face sales teams
provides weekend of rest and relaxation for independent network of sales offices

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. (September 29, 2011) – Cydcor, the leading provider of outsourced, face-to-face sales teams, recently held its annual R&R event at the El Conquistador Resort in Puerto Rico. The event is structured to honor and appreciate the network of independent sales offices throughout the United States and Canada for their efforts over the past year, providing them with opportunities to rest, relax, and network.

This year, almost 600 were in attendance and enjoyed the theme of “work hard, play hard.” Attendees had the opportunity to be part of a pirate themed private island dinner on Palomino Island, see a Latin dance show, spend time in the pool, and lounge on the beach. During the weekend, they also saw two leaders become promoted to senior positions, showcasing the hard work each individual made to get to that level.

Additionally, a charity dodgeball tournament took place to raise funds for Amigos de los Animales, Inc., an animal rescue organization in Puerto Rico. Eighteen teams of team members from the independent sales offices competed against each other in a bracket tournament and raised $1,800 for the organization.

“It is clear that we are a unique organization that thrives on making a difference wherever we are, and that momentum, focus, and drive is what really separates us from the rest,” said Vera Quinn, chief operating officer.

It was a pleasure seeing them receive their hard-earned recognition and watch their energy during the two events – everyone was enthusiastic and energized.”

Through the Neighborhood Leader Program:

  • The network of nearly 200 independent Cydcor sales offices located across the United States and Canada are given financial sponsorships.
  • The offices are encouraged to donate their time and talent to non-profit, charitable organizations in their communities.
  • Cydcor provides a contribution match to help support the volunteer effort.

To date, approximately 800 team members from sales offices throughout the country have dedicated almost 400 hours to their local communities through volunteer work and donations since the program’s inception. They’ve served 46 organizations, as shown in the Cydcor Neighborhood Leader video.

“These numbers are truly astounding,” said Gary Polson, CEO of Cydcor. “Since the program’s inception, we have been able to make a significant difference in our local communities. More sales offices are taking advantage of this valuable program and making the ritual of giving back a major goal. I’m so proud of their commitment and dedication.”
